The Bay Vista

The Bay Vista is a place to stay with a difference. Nestled on three acres of country hillside property and featuring two acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, we offer the serene and relaxing country environment that you'd expect to find far away from everything. Only we aren't far away at all. We're less than three miles from the Cavendish intersection (Route #13 & #6), which means all the attractions of the famous Cavendish Resort Area are only a couple minutes up the road. There are five golf courses within ten minutes drive. And the beautiful beaches of Prince Edward Island's National Park are just around the corner. We are only 30 minutes from Charlottetown & Summerside.

Apart from a peaceful setting near the heart of Cavendish, we have much to offer at the Bay Vista. Parents can sit on the outdoor decks or gazebo and admire the New London Bay and Hope River panorama while keeping an eye on their children enjoying our playground. Everyone will appreciate the heated outdoor pool for a refreshing dip on a hot summer day. Nature is never far away so don't be surprised if you catch a glimpse of a bald eagle or a family of red foxes. The National Park hiking trails are easily accessible from the property.

At the Bay Vista we offer units with one queen or two double beds, as well as two charming housekeeping units with a queen bed, ideal for couples. There are microwaves, fridges, and satellite internet access available in all our rooms. Almost every room has a view of the bay, and all but one of our rooms are smoke free.

If you're looking for something a little more exclusive we also have a spacious three bedroom cedar cottage on a private lot with a spectacular view of New London Bay.

Prices include off season rates. Rates also include continental breakfast.

Federal GST of 5% and a Provincial Sales Tax of 10% are added to all list prices.    

Each additional person $4 in low season, $7 in peak season

We offer 31 units: 29 overnight and two efficiency units. We have 21 rooms with two doubles; one with a queen and a double, three with a queen; three with a king; one with a double; and the efficiency units have a queen each.

All of our rooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning and electric heat. All the rooms have televisions, microwaves, fridges, and full baths.

We have wired and wireless satellite Internet connections available in all rooms, as well a computer for public Internet use located in the office.
